Hi, I am Katrina.
I help Twin Ports families navigate divorce and separation with clarity, dignity, and care.

My work is grounded in three guiding values: Respect, Responsibility, and Relationships.
Grounded in Respect, Responsibility, and Relationships, my work is designed to support families through change. When families are facing change, those values create steadiness and keep the focus where it belongs, on practical solutions and long-term wellbeing.
I am a Collaborative Divorce Attorney and Restorative Family Mediator because I believe most families deserve more than a courtroom process. You deserve an approach that is responsive to your unique needs, honors your voice, and supports thoughtful decision-making. My role is to bring structure to hard conversations, protect the integrity of the process, and help you move forward with a plan you can live with.
I am licensed to practice law in Minnesota and Wisconsin, and I have supported families across the Twin Ports for more than fourteen years. In addition to traditional representation, I offer Collaborative Divorce as a respectful, team-based option designed to reduce conflict and keep you in control of the outcome. I also serve as Co-President of the Collaborative Law Institute of Minnesota, and I am proud to help expand access to collaborative practice in Duluth. Visit my profile here.
As a mediator, I am a Circle Keeper and a Minnesota Rule 114 Qualified Neutral. I facilitate conversations about the hard things with calm guidance and clear boundaries, so you can make informed decisions without escalating conflict. When agreements are reached, I document them in writing so you leave with clarity and a shared understanding of next steps. View my mediation qualifications here.
